Learn Punctuation Mark : Quotation mark
सिंपल शब्दों में -
किसी की कही गयी बातों को Quotation mark के अंदर लिखा जाता है। हिंदी में इसे उद्धरण चिन्ह कहते हैं। इसके लिखने का तरीका कुछ इस तरह से है -
The things said by someone are written inside the quotation mark. The way of writing it is like this -वाक्य के शुरुवात में ( “ ) मार्क का प्रयोग किया जाता है जबकि वाक्य के अंत में ( ” ) मार्क का प्रयोग किया जाता है।
( “ ) mark is used at the beginning of the sentence whereas ( ” ) mark is used at the end of the sentence.
इसे अक्सर Double Quotation Mark भी कहा जाता है।
Rules for Quotation Mark Use :-
👉 जब भी कोई वाक्य Quotation Mark के भीतर शुरू होता है तब हमेशा Capital Letter का उपयोग करें | भले ही Quotation Mark वाक्य के बिच से शुरू हो, तब भी कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता है।
Example :-
"I wonder if you will stay " he said.
Martin said , "It is still very cold out there".
👉 किसी भी कथन ( Quote ) या वाक्य जो किसी विशेष द्वारा कहा गया हो उसे हमेशा Double Quotation Mark के अंदर लिखा जाता है।
Example :-
"There is no substitute for hard work."

👉 Quotation mark की शुरुवात करने से पहले वाक्य को बाधित करने के लिए Commas ( ,) का प्रयोग किया जाता है।

He said, “Enough.”

"This is a new car," Jeff explained.
She said, "Come home."
